Become a vital part of the Law Society of Alberta as a Complaint Dismissal Appeals Coordinator. This on-site position is crucial for a smooth appeals process.

In this full-time role, the CDA Coordinator will lead the management of Complaint Dismissal Appeals and coordinate related Tribunal Office proceedings. Working closely with Benchers and other committee members, you will ensure that all meetings, materials, and schedules are handled proficiently. You will also maintain comprehensive records and provide back-up support to the Pre-Hearing Coordinator whenever necessary. Your meticulous attention to detail and effective communication skills will drive success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and coordinate appeals and Tribunal meetings




• Organize assignments for Benchers and adjudicators
• Prepare materials for distribution prior to hearings
• Maintain accurate appeal and committee records
• Communicate decisions from Tribunal outcomes

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
• Administrative or Legal Assistant qualification
• Strong writing and time management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to adapt in a agile environment
