About the Role Our client is looking for a highly skilled and analytical Forensic Accountant to join their specialized investigation unit, serving the Kimberley region. This role is dedicated to uncovering financial fraud, irregularities, and misconduct through in-depth analysis and investigation. You will play a crucial role in litigation support, expert witness testimony, and the recovery of misappropriated assets. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement , providing flexibility while requiring presence for critical in office investigations and client meetings.
Key Responsibilities Conduct investigations into suspected financial fraud, embezzlement, and other financial crimes.
Analyze complex financial data, transaction trails, and accounting records to identify anomalies.
Prepare detailed forensic accounting reports, summarizing findings and supporting evidence.
Assist legal counsel in litigation support, including gathering evidence and providing expert testimony.
Quantify financial losses and assist in asset tracing and recovery efforts.




Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CA(SA) with forensic accounting experience, or a specialized forensic qualification (e.g., CFE).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in forensic accounting or a related investigative field.
Strong understanding of fraud schemes, investigation techniques, and legal procedures.
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and accounting software.
