PHO is seeking two full time Laboratory Attendants for its corporate and lab facilities in Toronto. This role involves critical tasks such as specimen sorting, data accuracy through lab information systems, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and effective communication will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage logging, sorting, and labeling of specimens
• Safely transport samples to the testing areas
• Prepare medical samples for microorganism testing




• Utilize automated systems for sample preparation and entry
• Conduct inventory management and cleanliness of lab workspaces

Requirements:
• Medical Laboratory Technician certification or comparable experience
• Familiarity with laboratory safety and procedures
• Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to handle inventory and supplies efficiently
