IEM is searching for a detail-oriented Materials Planning Specialist for our Surrey, B.C. manufacturing team. Drive production scheduling and inventory management in a proactive, in-office role.

This mid-level position requires coordinating with production, purchasing, logistics, and customer service teams. You will manage inventory levels, ensure productive flow of materials, and support production schedules. Your role will be fundamental in optimizing our operations and contributing to IEM’s innovative solutions in electrical distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Production Scheduler on inventory management
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods inventory levels
• Conduct cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies




• Coordinate purchasing of materials based on production needs
• Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years in production planning or inventory control
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication and organizational skills
