About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst to lead their efforts in securing connected vehicle systems. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cybersecurity threats to protect vehicle networks, data, and critical systems. You will work with a global team of experts, leveraging your deep understanding of automotive security protocols and threat landscapes. This is a crucial position for safeguarding the integrity and safety of our client's advanced automotive technologies, operating within a forward-thinking and security-conscious organization.
Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on automotive systems and networks.
Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies and policies specifically for connected vehicles.
Monitor security alerts and incident response activities, coordinating mitigation efforts across distributed teams.
Analyze emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to the automotive industry, providing timely threat intelligence.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices throughout the vehicle development lifecycle.
Develop and deliver cybersecurity training to internal teams and stakeholders.
Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, with a strong focus on automotive systems and IoT security.
Deep understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet), encryption, and authentication methods.
Experience with security assessment tools, SIEM systems, and threat modeling frameworks.
Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations for the automotive sector.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
