Enhance student learning as a temporary Secondary Teacher at A.L. Fortune Secondary School, specializing in Explorations for grades 7 and 8. This role starts immediately and extends to January 27, 2027.

We are looking for a dynamic educator with a Bachelor’s degree and valid BC teaching certificate to engage students in language explorations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate successful teaching experience and a commitment to fostering a team-oriented educational environment. Your passion will inspire and motivate students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver Explorations (languages) curriculum for grades 7/8
• Collaborate with the principal to finalize block assignment
• Employ a variety of teaching and assessment methods




• Create an engaging classroom atmosphere
• Encourage parent participation in the learning process

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Arts or Education with a focus on Secondary
• Valid BC teaching certification mandatory
• Proven success in secondary teaching roles
• Knowledge of updated curriculum guidelines
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration
