Join the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) as the Team Lead for ARS Registration and Risk. This position champions compliance oversight within a hybrid work workplace.

In this full-time role, you will become a subject matter expert in Alberta Reliability Standards and risk assessment processes. You will lead the Alberta Risk-Based Compliance Monitoring Program (ARCMP) and develop engaging technology solutions to facilitate compliance initiatives and improve oversight methods. Your ability to foster relationships with stakeholders is essential for enhancing compliance strategies and achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of ARCMP
• Lead onboarding and compliance oversight planning
• Drive assessment initiatives and monitor regulatory compliance




• Conduct research and regulatory analysis for strategic initiatives
• Engage stakeholders through education and outreach programs

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; P.Eng. or law degree is a plus
• At least 10 years of experience in compliance monitoring
• Proven leadership and team development skills
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
