Join Cambridge Memorial Hospital as a full-time Infection Control Practitioner and play a critical role in patient safety. Utilize your infection control skills in a collaborative healthcare setting.

In this position, you will be essential in monitoring infections, managing outbreaks, and educating clinical staff across our acute care settings. The Infection Control Practitioner will also work on developing IPAC policies, conducting surveillance, and advising on construction projects. A Bachelor’s degree and three years of infection control experience are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct surveillance for communicable diseases and events
• Manage outbreak response and infection control strategies




• Educate staff and patients on infection prevention
• Review and support hospital IPAC policy development
• Contribute to construction project infection control evaluations

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant health discipline
• Three years of infection control experience preferred
• CIC certification or progression towards certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in health record technology
