We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our Quality Assurance team based at our Vancouver facilities located on Kingsway and Chester Street. Reporting to the QA Manager , you will play an important role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality and food safety standards.
About the Role As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will support the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of our quality systems. You'll help ensure compliance with food safety standards, monitor product quality, conduct audits and testing, analyze data, and support employee training initiatives.
This position works rotating monthly 8-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. and requires travel between our 2777 Kingsway and 8330 Chester Street locations.
What You'll Do Implement and support SQF policies, procedures,



and food safety programs
Conduct inspections, testing, and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
Assist with employee training on GMPs and other quality and food safety practices
Support investigation of non-conformances and help implement corrective actions
Participate in internal audits and support third-party audits
Perform product testing and sensory evaluations
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and quality reports
Analyze trends and performance indicators, including customer and store feedback
What You'll Bring Availability to work rotating shifts between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. at both Vancouver locations
Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field
Up to two years of experience in a quality assurance, food safety, or related role
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
