Important details The candidate's primary role will be working on the production line and will be back up Forklift Operator when needed
This is not on a bus route
This is a fast-paced environment
The potential to be hired on is high if the candidate is the right fit
Wage & Shifts $21.50/hr.
Rotational shifts of days and afternoons
Weekend shifts are mandatory when required
Required skills, knowledge and abilities Valid forklift certification
5 years working experience driving a forklift in a busy warehouse or manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or equivalent (will ask for proof)
Previous experience working in shipping / receiving
Able to work shift work, flexible to work weekends when required
Proficient at reading and writing English
Production Associate Responsibilities Removing automotive parts from the running production line
Checking for any quality issues
Packaging the parts
Other duties as assigned
Forklift Operator Responsibilities Operate forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle, which includes pre-and post-shift inspection of vehicle and reporting of any maintenance requirements or issues with the equipment
Receive and unload inbound shipments, safely move product to storage locations
Efficiently stack and store products in appropriate area
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances
Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards
Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailer
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment
Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
Work with team members to ensure appropriate records and reports are completed to guarantee tight inventory control and security. Assist in physical inventories when required
