General Motors is looking for a recent developer on their Body Controls Calibration and System Testing Team, focused on pivotal features like vehicle access and cabin comfort. This position is designed for Bachelor’s degree students in engineering fields, eager to gain practical skills with embedded C, Python, and more. You will work at both the Markham and Oshawa locations, ensuring a collaborative, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Calibrate and validate customer-facing features in body electronics
• Troubleshoot and resolve system anomalies for continuous improvement
• Collaborate in a team-oriented atmosphere with embedded development experts
• Interact with advanced automotive technologies
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering
• Available for a 12-16 month co-op term, starting January 2027
• Proficiency in Embedded C and Python preferred
• Robust communication and teamwork skills
• Valid Ontario G Driver License is a plus
