This is a strategic role for a commercially minded qualified who enjoys leading complex subcontracting packages, developing sourcing strategies, negotiating agreements, and partnering with project teams to drive successful project outcomes. Flexible work location with a half-day schedule Potential future site assignments for those interested in expanding their project experience What You'll Do As a Senior Subcontracts Specialist, you'll lead the subcontracting process for major industrial construction projects, helping ensure commercial success from planning through execution. You will: Develop subcontracting and sourcing strategies with project teams Lead RFQ/RFP processes, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards Build strong scopes of work and commercial agreements with internal stakeholders Identify, evaluate, and engage qualified subcontractors Manage subcontract performance, changes, invoicing, claims, and closeout activitiesProvide contract and commercial guidance to project teams Build strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders Mentor team members and support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications: What We’re Looking For We're interested in experienced procurement and commercial professionals who bring: 10+ years of subcontract, procurement, or contract management experience Experience supporting major industrial construction or capital projects Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and commercial skills The ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities Excellent communication and organization skills Considered an asset: Relevant post-secondary education Moving Forward Together At Worley, we're creating a culture where people are empowered to do their best work.
