Our Canadian based client is seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) AI Solutions Architect to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of SAP or enterprise integration experience, including 4+ years building solutions on SAP BTP, with development capabilities that include exposure to ABAP Git and Git Copilot, or experience using any other Gen AI tool to support coding activities. Should also have multiple production BTP implementations under their belt; strong hands-on experience with CAP; proficiency in Node.js and/or Java; expertise in CDS modelling, Fiori, and UI5; deep knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, API Management, and Event Mesh; familiarity with SAP Business AI, AI Core, AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub, and Joule extensibility; working experience with Cloud Foundry and Kyma, HANA Cloud, XSUAA, IAS, and IPS; understanding of principal propagation; and solid skills in CI/CD and DevOps. This is primarily a remote work setting, with approximately 20–30% travel expected.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for designing scalable BTP architectures while remaining close to the technology and development teams.
- Architect solutions across SAP BTP services.
- Define CAP and application development architectures.




- Design Integration Suite and event-driven architectures.
- Define SAP Business AI architectures.
- Develop Joule integration and extensibility strategies.
- Provide technical leadership during presales and client pursuits.
- Develop architecture sections for proposals and RFPs.
- Estimate technical effort, complexity and infrastructure requirements.
- Advise clients on BTP consumption and commercial models.
- Define BTP setting and tenant strategies.
- Architect Cloud Foundry and Kyma environments.
- Design HANA Cloud persistence and data strategies.
- Define identity and authorization architectures.
- Develop integration architectures across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Define DevOps, CI/CD and transport strategies.
- Review developer work and establish technical standards.
- Support technical escalations during delivery.
- Develop reusable BTP architecture patterns and accelerators.
- Mentor BTP and AI development teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAP BTP Solution Architect certification.
