A professional service firm in Toronto is looking to optimize their financial operations. They require a dedicated remote specialist to manage their end-to-end accounts payable process and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks.

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to handle high-volume data entry, invoice processing, and financial reconciliation. You will be responsible for ensuring that all vendor invoices are accurately recorded and paid on schedule while maintaining clear communication channels with both the internal team and external vendors.

Schedule:

Full Time - 40h per week - CANADA time zone, from 8:30am to 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

- Retrieve and monitor incoming invoices from multiple digital platforms and email addresses.
- Perform precise and timely data entry of all invoice details into QuickBooks.
- Conduct weekly reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Process and manage weekly bill payments according to established schedules.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to vendor statements and reconciliations.
- Communicate professionally with vendors to manage inquiries and payment updates.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documentation.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a similar financial role.
- Expert-level proficiency with QuickBooks software is mandatory.




- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in manual data entry.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work during Toronto business hours (EST).
- Bonus if you have experience with Canadian business invoicing or tax standards.
- It helps if you have a formal background or education in accounting or finance.
