Our Canadian based client is seeking an experienced SAP AI Orchestration Developer to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years building production AI-enabled solutions, with hands-on exposure to SAP Business AI capabilities. Key technical competencies include AI Core and AI Launchpad, Generative AI Hub, prompt management and orchestration, RAG pipeline development, as well as chunking, embeddings, and retrieval evaluation. Experience with Document AI or Document Information Extraction is required, alongside solid Python development skills and proficiency in Node.js and/or Java. The candidate should also demonstrate workflow and process automation experience, preferably with SAP Build Process Automation or an equivalent platform. This will be a primarily remote work with expected occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop AI-enabled workflows and business processes with intelligent automation solutions within the SAP ecosystem.
- Integrate SAP AI capabilities into enterprise applications.




- Develop AI-assisted automation and decisioning solutions.
- Build retrieval and grounding capabilities using enterprise content.
- Develop RAG pipelines.
- Support document ingestion, classification and extraction.
- Work with embeddings and vector storage.
- Develop Joule extensions and custom skills.
- Integrate AI capabilities into business workflows and approvals.
- Establish human-in-the-loop controls and governance.
- Develop exception handling and audit trails.
- Evaluate AI output quality and performance.
- Support testing, deployment and hypercare.
- Develop reusable AI patterns and accelerators.
- Work closely with functional consultants to identify high-value AI use cases.

Preferred Experience:

- Joule Studio and Joule extensibility.
- HANA Cloud vector capabilities.
- ABAP AI SDK.
- Agent frameworks and MCP.
- Machine learning fundamentals.
- Consulting experience.
- Understanding of not only how to build AI solutions, but how to safely embed AI into real-world business processes.
