Our Canadian based client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance (FI) Solution Architect to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have 12+ years of SAP Finance experience, with extensive hands-on SAP configuration experience, multiple full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations, and proven experience acting as a Finance Solution Architect or Design Authority should also have strong knowledge of the S/4HANA Finance data model and the Universal Journal, along with experience in Group Reporting and/or SAC Planning, product costing and margin analysis, and Asset Accounting and capital project accounting with a robust understanding of Finance integration points including revenue recognition, inter-company transactions, inventory valuation, fixed assets, and period close, as is experience with IFRS and North American statutory requirements. This is primarily a remote work setting, with approximately 30–50% travel expected.

Key Responsibilities:





- Act as the SAP Finance design authority across client engagements.
- Lead Finance solution design and fit-to-standard discussions.
- Review and approve functional designs and architecture decisions.
- Support SAP presales, solutioning and effort estimation.
- Provide quality assurance across Finance workstreams.
- Support complex integration decisions involving Finance and other SAP modules.
- Review testing strategies and support issue resolution.
- Provide guidance on data migration and cutover activities.
- Support project teams during hypercare and post-go-live activities.
- Develop reusable Finance accelerators and best practices.
- Mentor SAP Finance consultants.
- Track SAP Finance roadmap developments and emerging capabilities.
- CPA, CMA or equivalent designation is considered an asset.
- Bilingual English/French preferred.
