Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Dispatcher in Guelph, ON for a temp-to-hire opportunity within a busy transportation and materials storage environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented logistics professional who understands dispatch operations, driver hours of service, trip planning, customer support, and transportation management systems.

The Dispatcher will support local and highway driver activity, build daily trips, complete trip sheet reconciliation, monitor open orders, and provide track and trace support to internal teams and customers. Key Responsibilities





- Build daily trips in the transportation management system for local and highway drivers.
- Reconcile and complete driver trip sheets for dedicated customers, including matching and uploading paperwork.
- Identify, document, and communicate discrepancies with the dispatch and operations team.
- Audit open orders and transportation system records to ensure billing accuracy and order status updates.
- Provide track and trace support to dispatch, customer service, and customers during or after working hours as needed.
- Complete data entry tasks, including manual order updates, appointment booking, breakdown requests, and monthly efficiency reporting.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $23.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Overtime: Approximately 2 to 6 hours per week, including weekends at times.
