Good News Auto is a busy, established automotive repair shop in Edmonton, and we're looking for the right person to join our front office team.

This isn't a position where you'll sit behind a desk doing the same thing all day. You'll be helping customers, answering phones, booking appointments, helping our Service Advisors, dealing with paperwork, moving vehicles and pitching in wherever you're needed.

No automotive experience is necessary. We'll teach you what you need to know. What we're really looking for is someone with a great attitude who likes people, stays organized and isn't afraid to jump in and help.

Schedule

- Part time — 3 days per week to start
- **Monday, Wednesday & Friday**
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- No evenings
- No weekends

What You'll Be Doing

You'll receive on-the-job training while helping with things like:

- Greeting customers and making them feel welcome
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Booking appointments
- Assisting with customer estimates
- Supporting our Service Advisors during busy periods
- Processing parts returns
- Filing supplier invoices and paperwork
- Helping manage our loaner vehicles
- Taking loaner vehicles for car washes or detailing
- Keeping the front office clean, organized and presentable
- General administrative duties
- Pitching in wherever needed to help the team

Who We're Looking For

Experience is great, but attitude, reliability and personality matter a lot to us.

We're looking for someone who:

- Genuinely enjoys working with people
- Is friendly, positive and professional
- Has excellent communication and English skills




- Is organized and pays attention to the little things
- Can multitask when things get busy
- Is comfortable learning new computer software
- Shows up on time and can be counted on
- Takes initiative instead of always waiting to be asked
- Enjoys being part of a close-knit team
- Is comfortable occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Has a valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Has reliable transportation
