Position Overview

As a Team Lead at Rockhead Beer Wine and Spirits, you will be responsible for leading the team in the absence of the Store Managers, ensuring smooth daily operations, and providing exceptional customer service. This role includes key responsibilities such as opening and closing the store, empowering team members, and maintaining a high standard of store presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead shift operations in the absence of managers by overseeing daily activities, opening and closing the store, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- Support and coach retail associates by providing guidance, sharing product knowledge, and fostering a positive and high-performing team environment
- Ensure store standards and cash controls by maintaining store presentation, monitoring merchandising, and accurately handling cash and end-of-day procedures
- Resolve customer and staff issues by addressing concerns promptly, supporting team members,



and delivering a positive customer experience
- Support training and onboarding by assisting with the integration and development of new team members to ensure consistent service and operational standards

Qualifications & Essential Skills

- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Proven experience as a Team Lead or similar role in retail (bonus points for liquor or hospitality experience).
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
- Capable of lifting up to 20kg (50lbs)
- Strong team player with an excellent work ethic and dedication

Education

High school completion preferred.
