We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead the financial operations of a growing fashion manufacturing company. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will oversee accounting and financial reporting while providing strategic insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, payroll and month-end close;
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts and cash flow;
- Manage inventory accounting, costing, margins and COGS within a manufacturing environment;
- Monitor production costs and variances, identifying opportunities to improve profitability;
- Establish and monitor financial controls, processes and reporting procedures;
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities;
- Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions;
- Partner with Operations, Production, Purchasing and Sales to improve financial performance;




- Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, banks and other financial partners;
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements and internal policies;
- Lead and develop the accounting/finance team.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field;
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Strong knowledge of inventory, product costing, COGS and manufacturing accounting;
- Advanced Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems;
- Strong analytical, organizational and leadership skills;
- Hands-on, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment;
- Experience in fashion, apparel, textiles or consumer goods manufacturing is a robust asset;

CPA designation is an asset
