Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes with precision, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Oversee food handling procedures, adhering strictly to safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently, supervising team members to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours.
- Assist in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellence.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area,

- Support food service activities, including plating dishes and assisting servers when needed to enhance guest satisfaction.

Experience

- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting, specifically with Indian cuisine preferred.
- Supervising experience in a kitchen or food service workplace demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, handling procedures, and hygiene standards.
- Background in restaurant management or team management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for quality control and customer service excellence.
- Previous experience in hospitality roles such as bartending or serving is a plus, showcasing versatility within the food service sector.
