Duties

- Take customer orders accurately for food and drinks, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks, following standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations to ensure a welcoming workplace
- Handle cash transactions with precision, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety at all times




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly

Skills

- Proven experience in restaurant or food service roles, including serving or bartending positions
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Micros POS for order entry and payment processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and order totals
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality mindset with a proactive approach to creating positive guest experiences
