Job Summary

Haven Spa & Social Club is seeking a creative, organized, and community-minded Brand & Marketing Coordinator to join our team in a part-time capacity.

The successful candidate will help bring the Haven brand to life through social media, content creation, marketing campaigns, local partnerships, events, and memorable member experiences.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands elevated branding, enjoys turning ideas into action, and is excited about wellness, hospitality, and building meaningful connections throughout Muskoka.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Haven’s monthly marketing and content calendar
- Create engaging social media content, including posts, Reels, Stories, and behind-the-scenes features
- Capture and coordinate high-quality photography and video content
- Write polished, on-brand captions, emails, promotional materials, and guest communications
- Plan and execute campaigns for services, memberships, retail products, events, and seasonal initiatives
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns and maintain current website content and promotions
- Monitor marketing performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Maintain brand consistency across all guest-facing platforms and materials
- Build relationships with local businesses, hotels, tourism operators, wedding professionals, and community organizations
- Identify and coordinate partnerships, collaborations, sponsorships, and cross-promotional opportunities
- Help plan, promote, and execute member events, workshops, private bookings, and seasonal activations
- Coordinate event vendors, logistics, setup, and follow-up
- Develop initiatives that support membership growth, guest retention, referrals, and repeat visits
- Support seasonal in-spa experiences and visual merchandising
- Maintain organized marketing files, content assets, calendars,



and performance reports
- Represent Haven professionally at select community and networking events
- Work collaboratively with Haven’s Founder, General Manager, and broader team to bring new initiatives to life

Requirements

- Professional experience or education in marketing, communications, content creation, hospitality, tourism, events, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
- Experience creating polished social media content, including short-form video
- A strong eye for photography, visual presentation, and brand consistency
- Familiarity with Instagram, Canva, email marketing platforms, and basic website updates
- Excellent organizational and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through independently
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, creative, and hands-on approach to work
- Comfort attending events, capturing content, and engaging with guests and community partners
- Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for events
- Knowledge of the Muskoka business, hospitality, wedding, or tourism community is a robust asset
- Photography, videography, graphic design, or paid digital advertising experience is an asset
- Applicants are encouraged to provide a portfolio or examples of previous content, campaigns, events, or creative work

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
