We are seeking a dedicated and passionate tutorto join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals through personalized instruction and support. As a Tutor, you will work closely with students to enhance their understanding of various subjects, foster a love for learning, and build their confidence in the classroom.

Subjects Needed:

- Math (All levels)
- English (Reading, Writing, Grammar)
- Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions tailored to meet the individual needs of students.
- Educate students on specific subjects, ensuring they grasp key concepts and skills.
- Develop customized lesson plans and learning materials that align with educational standards.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Monitor student performance and adjust teaching strategies as needed to promote academic success.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Provide homework help, test prep,



and subject enrichment

Requirements

- Strong command of the subject you are applying for (must be confident and skilled).
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children in a classroom setting, is preferred.

Strong communication skills to effectively convey information and engage with students.

- A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students through challenges.
- A background in the subject matter being taught is highly desirable.
- Applicants must be residents of Sherwood Park.
