Local AZ Driver – Full-Time | $27+/Hour + Benefits

Skywalker Transportation Services Inc. is hiring one experienced Local AZ Driver for a full time position based out of our Stoney Creek terminal.

This is a dedicated local position with consistent work throughout the GTA and Southern Ontario. You’ll be home every night and operating company equipment.

We’re looking for more than someone who can simply drive a truck. This is a hands-on local P&D; position for a driver who is comfortable working with LTL & TL freight, operating material-handling equipment, and helping keep freight moving through our dock and for our customers.

Compensation & Benefits

$27.00/hour and up (based on experience)

Full-time, year-round position

Vacation pay and statutory holiday pay Payroll position – not Driver Inc.

Consistent weekly hours

Home every night

Schedule Monday to Friday

Typical start time is approximately 6:00–7:00 AM, depending on the day's freight.

Most days will run approximately 10–12 hours.

Fridays may occasionally run later depending on freight volumes and customer requirements.

No regular weekend work, but some weekend work may be required.

What You'll Be Doing

Local pickups and deliveries throughout the GTA and Southern Ontario

Operating a tractor-trailer safely and professionally

Loading and unloading freight at customer locations

Operating a pump truck/pallet jack Operating an electric pallet jack Operating a forklift (forklift licence is an asset)





Stripping and loading trailers at our Stoney Creek cross-dock

Securing and handling freight properly

Completing paperwork and electronic shipment documentation

Communicating with dispatch throughout the day

Providing professional service directly to our customers

Some customers load and unload our trucks. At others, our driver handles the freight directly.

Applicants must be comfortable getting out of the cab and working.

What We're Looking For

Valid Ontario AZ licence

Minimum 3 years of verifiable AZ tractor-trailer experience preferred

Clean or reasonably clean driver's abstract

Good CVOR record

Experience with local GTA/Southern Ontario P&D; is strongly preferred

Comfortable operating a forklift and material-handling equipment

Able to safely handle pallets and freight

Reliable and punctual

Strong communication skills

Professional appearance and attitude

Able to work independently and make good decisions throughout the day
