Job description:

AllStaff Inc. is actively recruiting Production Associates- Military Defense Industry for up coming openings. Pay rate is $26.25/hour.

The successful candidate will support a World Class leader in the Defense industry, who aid in the design, assembly, paint/coating, and manufacturing of light and medium sized armored vehicles. This position will be on an evaluation hire basis (temporary to permanent).

What you would be doing?

- Perform Rebuild / Retrofit tasks and other general assembly duties.
- Clean vehicles and or parts.
- Prepare vehicle for interior and exterior painting by scuffing applicable surfaces, employing proper masking techniques, and remove rust.
- Working with aluminum parts, utilizing air blasters, sand blasters, wash bay and rust inhibitor application.
- Build assemblies of composite parts using mechanical fasteners.
- Demold composite parts.
- Utilize vinyl cutter for custom masking, working with glue and various other material such as fiber glass.
- Assist inside a paint booth with the application of wet-spray coating of parts that move on a conveyor line.
- Assembly of doors, ramps, and other specialized equipment Installation of signage utilizing stencils and other material.
- Moving racks of product to be dried, cooled or painted.
- Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, and lift to 30-50 lbs.
- Other duties as required.





What’s Required?

- 1+ year previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing, factory, construction or other rapid pace/mechanical environment.
- Availability to start on short notice.
- Must be flexible to work all shifts: days, afternoons & nights - shifts can change at any time.
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident for at least 5 years as this facility is monitored under the Controlled Goods Program.
- Clean criminal record and have 3 personal references that also have lived in Canada for 5 years.
