Position: Executive Assistant
Facility: Lamont H ealth Care Centre

Status: Permanent Part Time (0.6 FTE)

Position Summary:
Being mindful of the confidentiality of information, the Executive Assistant performs a
variety of secretarial and general office duties for the Executive Director, Senior
Management, Skilled and Technical Staff and acts as a Recorder at Board and
Committee meetings.

Qualifications:
 Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a Medical field, Business, Commerce, HR or

equivalent supplemented by Secretarial or Office Management courses
 Experience working with a Board (an asset)
 Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and typing skills (65-70 WPM)
 Minimum of 1-year experience working in a health care facility office
 Possesses a genuine interest in working with the Public and with Seniors
 Demonstrates maturity through interpersonal and communication skills
 Is courteous and exhibits a pleasant manner/attitude at all times




 Is respectful and adheres to the principle of confidentiality at all times
 Conducts herself/himself professionally and ethically at all times
 Adheres to Lamont Health Care Centre’s Mission, Philosophy, Values and Code of

Conduct.

Hours: Flexible
Salary: As per the current Out-of-Scope grid
