Industrial Hydraulic Service Technician - Field & Shop Service

Wage: $40-50/hr Depending on experience and qualification level ($5/HR Field Premium)

Location: Calgary (South East Shop) - Travel around Southern Alberta area

Permanent / full time position - 40-55 hours per week

Ticketed Millwright (|Journeyman) or Certified Fluid Power Specialist with extenwive hydraulic exp is a must. Currently seeking a Hydraulic Service Technician for a large Mechanical Repair company. This role will be involved with diagnosing and repairing a variety of hydraulic systems, Troubleshooting (diagnosing a problem on an unfamiliar power unit), Field Service (tank cleans, remediation, pump installs, re-seals, etc), disassembly of hydraulic cylinders, repair/replacement of hydraulic pumps, controls, switches, manifolds, replacing hoses ect. Candidates should be familiar with testing hydraulic assemblies and ensuring full functionality.



Candidates should have a strong background in industrial shop environment and be comfortable using various hand / power tools and understanding of site safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

- Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years hydraulic system service experience
- Class 5 Drivers license
- Familiar with using cranes and hoists
- Ticketed Millwright is preferred
- Ability to work in shop at times when field is slow

Asset to have:

- lubrication equipment experience (Automatic lubrication system installs and service)
- fire suppression install/recertification experience
