Job Summary
The Janitor ensures all Richmond Packaging facilities remain clean, safe, and organized. This role is responsible for routine cleaning, safe use of chemicals and equipment, and maintaining hygienic standards across offices, production, warehouse, and shipping areas. Working hours are Sunday - Thursday , 7:00 AM - 3:00PM, subject to change as per operational requirement.

Duties

- Follow established schedules and procedures to complete tasks critical to maintaining a sanitary, safe, and compliant processing setting.
- Clean and maintain equipment, structures, and grounds across all Richmond Packaging facilities, including the office, production plant, warehouse, and shipping areas, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and organization.
- Adhere to procedures for the safe handling of chemical cleaners and the operation of power floor equipment.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to:
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Cleaning and sanitizing lunchrooms, washrooms, and office spaces.
- Replenishing and maintaining washroom supplies daily.




- Removing and properly disposing of garbage and recycling.
- Carrying out general daily cleaning duties as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience

- Previous experience in janitorial work in a manufacturing, warehouse, or office environment is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygienic and organized work areas.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
