Job Summary

At Structcon, we are seeking a dynamic and organized Project Coordinator to join our team and drive the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between project managers, contractors, and clients, ensuring that project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met with precision. Responsibilities

- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and documentation to ensure timely delivery of construction phases
- Collaborate with project teams to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, ensuring clarity and accuracy
- Utilize construction management software such as Procore, Microsoft Office, MS Word, MS Excel, SmartSheets to track progress, budgets, and change orders
- Assist in preparing construction estimates by analyzing blueprints and schematics, supporting cost control efforts
- Manage communication between stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams to foster seamless collaboration via proficient verbal communication and Outlook email communication
- Review construction plans using tools like Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and/or Revit to verify specifications and identify potential issues early
- Support project managers in scheduling tasks using Procore or similar tools while maintaining strict adherence to timelines




- Oversee document control processes ensuring all project records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date
- Monitor project progress through site visits and reports; escalate issues promptly to keep projects on track
- Contribute to safety compliance by reviewing schematics and construction plans for adherence to regulations

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction or civil engineering environments with a solid understanding of construction processes especially structural and architectural drawings for concrete, concrete forming, reinforcing, etc.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience using project management software including Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD for planning and documentation
- Familiarity with construction management practices including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to interpret technical documents accurately and communicate clearly across teams
- Construction experience combined with knowledge of concrete civil engineering in ICI and residential projects is highly preferred

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- Project coordination: 3 years (preferred)

Language:

- English (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
