Our client is hiring for Mechanical Assemblers in Mississauga area.

Assignment length: Approximately four weeks, the client expects that one of the two temporary workers may be extended longer-term
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm
Pay rate: between $25 and $30 per hour
Location: Hurontario St and Courtney Park Dr, Mississauga
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly of industrial hydrogen electrolyzer modules and sub-assemblies following work instructions, engineering drawings, and SOPs.
- Install and assemble tubing, valves, fittings, manifolds, and mechanical components.
- Install, tighten, and leak-check Swagelok tube fittings and compression fittings.
- Use calibrated torque wrenches and hydraulic/pneumatic torquing equipment to tighten fasteners according to specified torque values.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Perform daily production and assembly activities to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
- Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks to ensure assemblies meet company standards.
- Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move heavy components and finished assemblies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Support production improvement initiatives and work effectively within a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, industrial manufacturing, or heavy equipment assembly.
- Experience working with Swagelok fittings is mandatory.
- Experience using torque wrenches and torquing equipment is mandatory.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lb (23 kg) on a regular basis.
- Experience operating an overhead crane and forklift (certification is an asset).
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet daily production targets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience assembling pressure systems, piping, process equipment, or hydrogen equipment.
- Knowledge of leak testing, pressure testing, or industrial fluid systems.
Experience in a clean manufacturing or industrial production workplace.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Experience:
- Mechanical assembly: 1 year (preferred)
- Swagelok fittings : 1 year (required)
- using torque wrenches and torquing equipment : 1 year (preferred)
