Temporary Construction Positions - Dauphin, MB

Cutting Edge Construction Ltd. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team for a 3-4 month construction project in Dauphin, Manitoba, framing the new Prairie Park Place Early Learning Centre.

We are currently hiring:

- Site Superintendent / Lead Carpenter
- Carpenter Apprentices (Levels 1-4)
- General Labourers

Responsibilities

Depending on the position, responsibilities may include:

- Wood framing and structural construction
- Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely
- Material handling and site organization
- Assisting carpenters and supervisors with daily tasks
- Maintaining quality workmanship and safe work practices
- Coordinating crews and site activities (Site Superintendent position)

Qualifications Site Superintendent / Lead Carpenter





- Journeyperson Carpenter or equivalent construction experience
- Experience leading crews and coordinating site activities
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Carpenter Apprentices

- Registered apprentice or interested in pursuing a carpentry apprenticeship
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Construction experience considered an asset

Labourers

- Positive attitude and dependable attendance
- Ability to perform physical work in an outdoor environment
- Construction experience is an asset but not required

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
