Community Liaison

For over 60 years, Manpower, a global leader in the staffing industry, has been partnering with a diverse client base to create and deliver custom, innovative workforce solutions to help them and win, in the changing world of work. We are looking for a Community Liaison to join our Red Deer Career Leap program to help deliver this vision.

In this role, you will serve as the bridge between our organization, employers, community partners, and the public. This role is responsible for building strong partnerships, promoting organizational programs and services, supporting recruitment initiatives, and enhancing community engagement.

As a Community Liaison, you’ll have the opportunity to:

- Build and maintain partnerships with employers and community organizations to create employment and career development opportunities.
- Serve as the primary community contact, responding to inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Represent the organization at community meetings, networking events, conferences, and public engagements.
- Coordinate outreach, promotional, and recruitment activities to support organizational hiring goals.
- Manage and strengthen the organization's social media presence.
- Research, develop, and facilitate workshops for employers and community partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify community needs and implement outreach initiatives.




- Maintain knowledge of organizational programs and services and provide related support to staff.

As our next Community Liaison you bring:

- Robust public speaking abilities with confidence in engaging diverse audiences.
- 1-3 years of experience in community engagement, communications, marketing, proposal writing, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with social media platforms and community outreach initiatives.
- Knowledge of public-sector procurement processes is an asset.
