Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant

We are a small, privately owned, family oriented dental office who work as a team. We are seeking a qualified, motivated, and dependable Dental Receptionist / DentalAssistant to join our team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable and proficient in both assisting and reception duties. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to transition from full-time assisting into a reception-focused role while continuing to assist clinically when needed.

Position Details

- Position: Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday ONE evening a week!
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Hours: Part-time to Full-time Flexibility
- Location: Harvard Square Dental L9C 6C2

Responsibilities

- Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Manage front desk reception and patient inquiries
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Answer telephone calls and respond to patient communications
- Process payments and maintain accurate patient records
- Assist the dentist during clinical procedures when necessary




- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments
- Follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols
- Provide support with day-to-day dental office operations
- Maintain a high standard of patient care and customer service

Qualifications & Requirements

- Dental Assisting certification required
- HARP certification required
- Experience and working knowledge of Dentrix required
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment

Harvard Square Dental offers a permanent opportunity with part-time to full-time hours, Monday through Thursday. NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS
