Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organized workspace will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Cafe experience will be preferable.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods, ensuring timely service without compromising quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including giving change and processing credit card payments.
- Keep the workspace clean,



including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

- Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
