Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Key Holder to join our vibrant retail team! As a Key Holder, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors. Your leadership skills and proactive approach will help maintain store safety, organize merchandising displays, and support sales initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail expertise while contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

The ideal candidate must be available to work Sundays, and have flexibility for morning or evening shifts during the week.

Responsibilities

- Open and close the store securely, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
- Assist customers with inquiries, product recommendations, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales
- Manage cash handling procedures, including cashiering and POS (Point of Sale) system operations
- Oversee daily merchandising activities, including stock organization and visual displays to attract customers
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining a positive store atmosphere
- Enforce store policies and procedures to ensure a safe shopping environment for staff and customers
- Buy used product, reinforcing the customers’ purchases and sales to the store.



Invite customers to return to the store with their used items for product to sell; educating the customer about the buy process.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles; leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Solid communication skills in English; proficiency in French or other languages is advantageous for serving diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems, computer operation, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and basic math skills for cash handling and inventory counts
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stock management
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and store presentation
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of retail merchandising standards, upselling techniques, and customer service best practices
- Hospitality or related experience is beneficial for creating welcoming shopping experiences
