Role Description The Website Salesperson is a contract, remote role based in Toronto, ON. This role involves meeting with prospective clients, understanding their business needs, and presenting tailored website design and development solutions. Day-to-day tasks include generating leads, conducting discovery calls and in-person consultations, preparing proposals and quotes, and following up to close sales. The Website Salesperson will collaborate with the design team to scope projects accurately, ensure client expectations are aligned with deliverables, and maintain ongoing relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. The role also includes maintaining a pipeline of opportunities, tracking sales activities,



and representing the studio professionally at networking events or client meetings.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in consultative selling, lead generation, and closing deals for creative or digital services.
- Ability to communicate website design concepts, project scopes, and pricing clearly to non-technical clients.
- Experience building and maintaining client relationships, including discovery, follow-up, and account management.
- Comfort with in-person meetings, presentations, and networking in the Toronto, ON area.
- Basic understanding of website design and development processes (e.g., timelines, deliverables, revisions).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong listening and questioning abilities.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple prospects, proposals, and deadlines.
- Prior sales experience in graphic design, web design, marketing, or related fields is an asset.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently within a small team environment.
- Comfort using CRM tools or simple tracking systems to document activities and manage the sales pipeline.

Pay: $52,639.89-$112,993.84 per year
