French Tutor-Mentor – Elementary & High School Students in Regina

TutorBright is seeking French-speaking Tutor-Mentors to support elementary and high school students in Regina. We are currently looking for tutors who are comfortable helping students with French language learning, French Immersion subjects, homework support, assignments, and test preparation.

This flexible, part-time chance allows you to create a schedule that works around your availability while providing one-on-one academic support and mentorship that helps students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and succeed in school.

Responsibilities:

- Provide personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions for elementary and high school students.
- Support students with French reading, writing, speaking, grammar, comprehension, and assignments.
- Assist French Immersion or Francophone students with subjects taught in French when applicable.
- Help students with homework, test preparation, study skills, and academic confidence.
- Adapt teaching strategies to match each student’s grade level, learning style, and academic needs.
- Act as a mentor and positive role model, helping students develop stronger learning habits.

Qualifications:

- Strong proficiency in spoken and written French.




- Comfortable supporting both elementary and high school students.
- Previous tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or youth-support experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to creating a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Requirements:

- Ability to provide in-home and/or online tutoring.
- Must be located in Regina.
- Reliable transportation for in-home tutoring.
- Current or willingness to obtain a vulnerable sector police check.

Additional Assets:

- Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor’s degree program.
- Graduate of or currently enrolled in a B.Ed., B.A., French, Education, or related program.
- Certified Teacher.
- Experience supporting French Immersion or Francophone students.
- Experience tutoring elementary and/or high school students.
