Maple Leaf Homes is seeking two experienced Drywall Crack Fillers to join our production team. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing and finishing drywall surfaces in modular homes while maintaining a high standard of quality and workmanship.

This position is well suited to individuals with previous experience in drywall finishing, crack filling, taping, mudding, or residential construction.

Key Responsibilities

- Apply drywall compound to joints, cracks, corners, and fastener holes
- Install and finish drywall tape as required
- Apply multiple coats of compound and ensure proper drying between applications
- Sand and prepare finished surfaces for painting
- Inspect surfaces and repair imperfections
- Mix and prepare compounds to the appropriate consistency
- Safely use sanding equipment, hand tools, and other required equipment
- Complete assigned work according to production schedules and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company health and safety requirements
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Previous crack-filling, drywall-finishing, taping, or mudding experience is preferred
- Knowledge of drywall compounds, application methods, and finishing techniques
- Ability to produce smooth, consistent,



paint-ready surfaces
- Robust attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and physically demanding work
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a production environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to following workplace safety procedures

Compensation

The hourly rate will be determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.
