Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and food safety standards to upsell effectively and enhance guest satisfaction
- Prepare tables by setting up utensils, napkins, and condiments; assist in food preparation when necessary
- Ensure sanitation and cleanliness of dining areas, adhering to all food handling and food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address guest needs promptly
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Experience with POS systems
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment through excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for order accuracy, cashiering, and cash handling tasks
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not required
