General Description:
Perform test software application development and debug, project management administrative tasks and provide technical assistance to the engineering staff in support of customer projects.
Qualification:
- Bachelor in Electrical engineering obtained in the last two years from a recognized.
- No previous employment experience in Electrical engineering or related field
- be legally entitled to work according to relevant provincial legislation and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft windows, MS office, electronic mail.
- Programming skills in either C, C++, Visual Basic, Unix.
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics and electronic circuit boards.
- Experience in PCB layout, FPGA and micro-controller-based designs
- Flexibility, excellent communication skills.
- Self disciplined with a passion for thorough, complete work.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming customer design cad data for correctness and completeness
- Inspect incoming project hardware (ICT fixtures) for completeness and correctness and run initial diagnostics
- Perform electronic data entry, develop test programs on 3070 test systems.
- Develop test applications using 3070 software and supporting tools – training available.
- Assemble electronic devices on prototype boards using solder Iron and test
- Assemble wires or implement wire changes using standard wiring tools
- Inspect customer electronic products as per inspection procedures and maintain a log of material disposition.
- Manage data archive and retention
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Maintain schedules, determine office procedures and routines
- Material and office supply procurement
- Follow up customer for quotes and order status
- File, log, archive customer information as per procedures
- Handle product shipping and receiving.
- Schedule and attend general meetings
- Manage follow up for project tasks
- Maintain schedules, determine office procedures and routines
- Maintain file receipts, invoices, and follow up for payments
- Compile data, generate reports and conduct researches.
Required Conditions
- Valid driver license and vehicle.
- Legal to work in Canada.
Work Environment
- In-person in office and assembly lab.
- Occasional on-site installation and support at the client manufacturing facilitie.
