A brand-new Good Earth Coffeehouse is opening at VIVO for Healthier Generations on September 21, and we are looking for friendly, energetic and dependable Baristas to join our opening team.

At Good Earth Coffeehouse, great coffee is at the heart of what we do. We take pride in serving high-quality coffee and espresso beverages while creating a welcoming experience for every customer.

Located inside VIVO, our current coffeehouse will serve a busy and diverse community of families, athletes, students, staff and visitors.

We offer flexible scheduling that can work around school and other commitments, making this a great

opportunity for students, people looking for part-time work, or anyone interested in building experience in the café and hospitality industry.

What You’ll Do

 Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, tea and specialty beverages according to Positive Earth

recipes and standards

 Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service

 Take customer orders and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system

 Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately

 Assist customers with menu selections and product questions

 Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming service area

 Restock coffee, milk, syrups, cups and other supplies throughout the shift

 Assist with food service and basic food preparation as required

 Follow all food safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures

 Work collaboratively with Foodistas and other team members during busy periods





 Help create a positive customer experience that keeps people coming back

What We’re Looking For

 Previous barista, café, restaurant or customer service experience is an asset, but not required

 Passion for coffee and providing excellent customer service

 Friendly, positive and professional attitude

 Strong communication and teamwork skills

 Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

 Dependable and punctual

 Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing regular cleaning and restocking duties

 Food safety certification is an asset; willingness to obtain certification may be required

 Availability for a combination of weekday, evening and weekend shifts

 Availability for training prior to our September 21 opening

No barista experience? No problem. We’ll train the right person, including Good Earth beverage preparation, product knowledge and service standards.
