Early Childhood Educator – Tuscany, Calgary

Kaleidoscope Kids Preschool is seeking a passionate, energetic, caring, and reliable Early Childhood Educator to join our team at our Tuscany location in Calgary.

Position Details

- Location: Tuscany, Calgary
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- Start Date: Immediately
- Compensation: $17.00–$19.00 per hour Plus Government Wage-Top-up, based on experience and qualifications
- Additional Benefits: Government Wage Top-Up

About the Role

You will work with children between the ages of 3 and 5 years, helping to create engaging, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

This position requires someone who enjoys working as part of a team. You will work closely with other educators, assist teachers with classroom activities and daily routines, and provide support wherever needed to ensure a positive and successful learning environment for all children.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about early childhood education, flexible, dependable, and committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating setting.

Responsibilities

- Assist teachers and other educators with daily classroom activities and routines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to support children's learning and development.
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a safe,



positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Assist other teachers and staff members as needed throughout the day.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta licensing regulations and Kaleidoscope Kids Preschool policies and procedures.

Qualifications

- Minimum Alberta Level 1 Early Childhood Educator Certification (required).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Valid Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and positively as part of a team.
- Flexible, reliable, and willing to assist wherever needed.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is an asset.
