Job description

In this role you'll get:

This position will be permanently remote only.

This is a contractual position for 12 months with opportunity to extend if the fit is right.

Our work with clients is on a 1-on-1 basis and sessions are conducted online through video call.

The successful candidate is preferred to have previous experience working 1-on-1 with non-disordered/high-functioning adults, as well as previous experience working with accent modification, enunciation, public speaking, professional communication, and/or voice use.

Requirements:

- Education: A Master’s Degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology.




- License: Must be registered or eligible to be registered with the regulating college in Ontario or BC
- Proof of professional liability insurance.
- Access to a computer with a good quality microphone, good webcam, and strong internet connection.
- Ability to work independently, and is self-directed.
- Possess strong communication (oral and written) skills with the ability to engage others.
- Possess robust time management and organizational skills.
- Be courteous, positive, and professional with all staff and clients.
- Committed to providing culturally sensitive and empathic professional care to clients.
- Must have a solid understanding of Canadian Culture and Canadian English accent to provide value to our clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Consultation, assessment, and treatment of communication difficulties via virtual care
- Manage your own records of client progress, goal attainment, assessed needs, etc.
- Monitor client progress toward goals and adjust treatment plans and sessions as needed.
- Actively engage clients to ensure sessions are tailored to client goals.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $70.00-$85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
