Family Assistant / Household Manager – Oshawa

A busy professional family in Oshawa is looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Family Assistant / Household Manager to help manage day-to-day household operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping a home running smoothly, is dependable, and is comfortable around children.

Responsibilities
- School drop-off and pickup for children (MUST 830am is dropoff and 330pm/430pm is pick up depending on the day and school is 5km from the house)
- Grocery shopping and household errands
- Laundry, folding, and organization
- Coordinating food orders and meal logistics
- Managing household supplies and restocking
- Scheduling appointments and helping organize family calendars
- Coordinating with cleaners, maids, and other service providers
- Occasional light meal preparation
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, low-stress household environment
- Bed linen changes

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Previous experience working with families,



children, or in household management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Trustworthy, punctual, and proactive
- Comfortable multitasking and working independently
- Able to provide references
- Vulnerable sector check / background check preferred

Schedule

Flexible full time or part-time options are available.

A typical schedule may include:

- Morning school drop-off
- Afternoon pickup
- Midday errands/household management

Compensation

Competitive compensation based on experience.

Location

Must be able to commute reliably within Oshawa / Durham Region.
