Foot Forward Clinic is a growing chiropody (foot care) clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a warm and welcoming environment. We are seeking a reliable, friendly Medical Receptionist & Assistant to join our team on a part-time/casual basis.

This role is well-suited for a student or part-time professional looking for consistent Monday afternoon/evening hours, with the opportunity to pick up additional weekday evening shifts.

This is a key front-desk position where you will be the first point of contact for our patients—setting the tone for their experience from the moment they walk in. We are looking for someone who brings both professionalism and warmth, thrives in a detail-oriented role, and takes pride in keeping a clinic running smoothly.

Schedule & Hours

- Primary Required Shift: Mondays, 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Immediate start)
- Additional Hours: Casual weekday evening shifts as clinic needs arise

What You’ll Be Doing

- Greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage appointment bookings for chiropodists
- Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately
- Confirm insurance details, process payments, and assist with billing questions
- Keep the reception area and front desk tidy, organized, and stocked




- Support back-office clinic flow: light turnover/sanitization between patients, restocking treatment rooms and supplies
- Help maintain a seamless daily flow and a calm, positive clinic environment
- Assist the team with general administrative tasks as needed

Who You Are

- Available to commit to the Monday 1:00–7:00 PM shift on an ongoing basis
- Strong communication and customer service skills—empathetic, welcoming, and clear
- Comfortable using computer systems and phone lines (we use JaneApp—full training provided)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and reliable follow-through
- Able to multitask in a busy environment with a calm, patient-first mindset
- Prior experience in a medical office, clinic, healthcare, or customer service setting is an asset, but not required for the right candidate
