Job Title: Capital Budget Analyst I

Location: Dresden, ON

Schedule: Full Time

Our client is seeking a Capital Budget Analyst I to support capital maintenance operations through financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and operational project support. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to help ensure effective planning, execution, and tracking of capital maintenance activities.

What's the Job?

- Track and analyze capital maintenance spending in support of the management team.
- Monitor monthly cash flow and forecast future project activity.
- Collaborate with planning teams to improve alignment between maintenance planning and execution.
- Prepare and maintain C55 forecasts, outlooks, and budgets.
- Monitor and report on execution metrics and key performance indicators.
- Support day-to-day capital maintenance activities, including AFE and SAP project creation, project releases, and TECO processes.
- Generate spending reports, journal entries, Service Requests (SROs), and work orders.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for management, regulatory requirements, and business initiatives.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with operations, project management, maintenance engineering, asset management, planning, finance, accounts payable, and supply chain teams.
- Support ongoing process improvements and operational efficiencies within the capital maintenance function.

What's Needed?





- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Mandatory accounting experience.
- Experience working with Oracle, SAP, C55, Excel, PowerPoint, and MarkView.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using financial systems and advanced Excel functions.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience supporting operational or maintenance environments is considered an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Commitment to accuracy, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
