We are hiring a Loader/ Unloader and possible Line Operator for our client located in Milton.

Job Description:

- Load heavy products onto a pallet as per Company standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct quality control checks for leg length, leg size, caliper, degree, and correct piece counts
- Fill out quality control sheets as per quality control checks.
- Inform the Line Operator of any issues or problems.
- Strap pallet as designed per work instructions
- Lubricate cutter blade on chopper as needed.
- Dispose of scrap.
- Maintain workplace in accordance with housekeeping standards
- Adhere to all Health and Safety policies & procedures.
- Perform all other duties deemed necessary.
- Performs all aspects of quality, including inspection and removal of defective materials.
- Recognize quality issues related to machine components and make required adjustment to compensate and correct quality issues.
- Completes appropriate paperwork and provide accurate information related to waste, down time, machine maintenance and efficiency.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machine as needed.

Qualification:

- MUST be able to lift Heavy products
- Comfortable with lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, of products etc.
- High school diploma or GED.




- Previous machine operation experience preferred.
- Must be comfortable with occasional heavy lifting.

- Able to physically inspect company property and assets.
- Exposure to a noisy and wet environment.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Overtime as required which would be on Fridays

Pay-rate: $22.25/hr - $23.25/hr

Shift: Afternoon shift, but training may be on day shift for a few days prior to moving to afternoons. Shift scheduled, 4:00PM - 12:00AM - Monday to Thursday

OT option available
