About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting General Labourers for a well-established manufacturing company in Markham, Ontario.

This is a excellent opportunity for someone looking to build long-term experience in a manufacturing and production environment. The successful candidate will work as part of a team supporting production, assembly, material handling, and general shop-floor activities.

Strong candidates will have a good work ethic, be mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hand tools, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

- Assist with general manufacturing and production activities
- Perform material handling and move components throughout the production area
- Assist with assembly, installation, and preparation of products
- Use basic hand and power tools as required
- Load, unload, organize, and stage materials
- Follow production instructions and work orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform quality checks and report any issues to the supervisor
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Support machine operators and skilled trades as required




- Perform other general labour duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or general labour experience is an asset
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Mechanically inclined with an interest in learning
- Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions
- Good physical condition and able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials safely
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Previous experience in a metal fabrication or machinery manufacturing environment is an asset
