Duties

- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company policies
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management
- Oversee retail sales activities, including cashiering, merchandising, and customer service interactions
- Manage inventory purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize product availability and profitability
- Handle payroll processing, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and integrity
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase store visibility within the community
- Conduct interviews and participate in recruiting efforts to build a talented and diverse team
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports to inform strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized store environment
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems effectively for transactions, returns, and inventory management

Skills

- Proven supervising or team management experience within retail environments
- Strong negotiation skills to handle vendor relations and pricing discussions
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively




- Excellent communication skills with phone etiquette and organizational prowess
- Proficiency in retail sales techniques, merchandising, and marketing strategies
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks
- Skilled in training & development methods to enhance team capabilities
- Sound math skills for cash handling, pricing adjustments, and inventory calculations
- Effective time management to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and foster a positive store culture

Job Duties:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail sales workers
- Assign duties to staff and prepare work schedules
- Authorize payments and the return of merchandise
- Resolve customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
- Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
- Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- Hire and train recent staff and monitor their performance
- Ensure the store's visual standards and established procedures are maintained
- Perform key holding and opening and closing duties as required
- Supervise and coordinate daily store operations

Employment Requirements:

- 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant work experience
- English
- Ability to supervise and coordinate staff
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
